If this land were a country,

Its name would be unspeakable;

Like the reddened apple in its tree,

Unreachable.

She took me there with a color;

Bold, bright, and singular.

But even in moonlight

The sweet-apple is red

And unattainable.

There are no gods:

Only creatures,

Who laugh

At the apple-reachers.
